We launched our new band name with a sexy bluesy show at The Union Room, upstairs from Biscuits and Blues, on August 20. Brad Hughes on sax, just slayin’ it… Dave Fairchild getting down on the bass and backing vocals, and Terry Thompson just crackin’ it on the drums. Me, I just did my thing.

Packed the house, and we had some great laughs between songs. I made a bunch of new friends from the crew from England – which will be stellar for my trip there next year (oh yes, the Euro tour has got to happen next year, Scotland/Ireland/England!)

The West Coast Songwriters organization recently approached me about a featured performance for KMVT, Mountain View. In July, joined by Dave Sampson (guitars) and Terry Thompson (drums), we filmed a forty-five minute performance in the cozy studios there, which would go live a month later. Apparently it’s to be screened in several cities this summer! As someone who mostly watches TV online, I’m thankful that they also shared clips for us through YouTube, so I’ll be sure to share a few of my favorites.

The crew was great to work with – and after a whirlwind set-up, we were off and running. We have some great behind-the-scenes photos if you’re dying to meet the crew!
